		<description><![CDATA[Hi, I have started reading your book today. I have been always interested in this approach of accepting our anxiety, fears, and social anxiety (and almost every other feeling really) instead of fighting with it. A more meditative kind of approach in which we accept and watch our thoughts, actions, and feelings in a more detached or objective way, instead of fighting with them and trying to forcefully change them. It always seemed a deeper and more holistic way to deal with emotional issues.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[From personal experience with friends who are socially anxious, I now see that acts of kindness are easy ways to express themselves in social situations. Practicing small acts of kindness could help increase confidence in socially anxious people. In addition to this, I think being on the receiving end of acts of kindness could also help reduce some anxiety in social situations. In a way, having someone express kindness towards you gives you a template/model for you to do it yourself. You could also learn to recognize the feelings associated with receiving acts of kindness, which may help a socially anxious person realize that acting this way isn&#039;t always perceived as &quot;foolish&quot; or &quot;wrong&quot;. I think this is a very interesting study which gives great ideas for socially anxious people.]]></description>
